We are pleased to announce that following our rescheduled AGM, held online on Sunday 14th June 2020, Claire Stacey has been elected as Chair of the association and Paul Binder as Vice-Chair.
In other changes to the Officers of the Association, Sam Hewitt becomes Treasurer as Dave Wood steps down following many years with TYMBA. Former Chair Andy Downton is also remaining with the association taking the now vacant role of Membership Secretary.
Before the vote, Claire and Paul outlined their vision for the future of TYMBA, working with members more around what they want, the events they wish to be part of support they need. A Bandmasters’ Conference is already in the calendar for the end of September.
