The weather forecast looks perfect for the 12 Traditional Youth Marching Bands Association bands who’ll take to the arena at Dudley’s Himley Hall this Sunday (25th June).
It’s the 28th Halesowen Youth Marching Band Championships, hosted by the Halesowen Scout Band. As it has for the past few years the contest is once again is part of Dudley Borough’s Armed Forces Day.
Thousands of people are expected to line the arena as the young musicians take to the field for the first time in 2017.

Supporters will have access to all the park and grounds and we encourage them to have a look around the various things going on including a visit to the House. There are no charges for entrance.
Once at the Hall and grounds there will be refreshments, amusements; displays and military vehicles.
The refreshment area will have been set up prior to your arrival, why not take advantage of a welcome drink or bite to eat? Breakfast Sandwiches are available in the small cafe within the grounds near to the golf course.
