More details released ahead of the TYMBA Nationals

Bands are getting ready to take part in this year’s Traditional Youth Marching Bands Association (TYMBA) National Championships 2019 next month.

Thanks to the Royal Marines Bands Service, this year’s event takes place over two days on Whale Island, Portsmouth with our young musicians taking part in a day of expert training and tuition followed by a day of competition.

The event takes place on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September.

13:42 – Spen Valley Scout & Guide Band
13:54 – Stone Scout & Guide Band

Championship Class:
14:06 – Biggleswade Sea Cadet Band
14:20 – Thurmaston Marching Brass

National Class:
14:40 – Romford Drum & Trumpet Corps
15:00 – Haverettes Girls Band

This will be followed by the final muster

The TYMBA National Championships 2019 is not open to the general public. However, band supports can come and watch the competition. Speak to your bandmaster for details of how to be there.
